Richard Clarke appeared on Meet The Press today, talking in some detail about his book and the charges it contains, which continue to dog the Bush administration.
He also called for all of his prior 9/11 testimony, memos and emails, and those of National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, to be made public.
Dr Rice is appearing on 60 Minutes at the moment.
As John Kerry said if Dr Rice can find time to appear on 60 Minutes, "she should find 60 minutes to speak to the commission under oath", the Bush campaign accused their opponent of "politicizing" the commission's work.
"John Kerry seeks to distract Americans from his own failed ideas for protecting America from future attacks," a spokesperson said.
His "... backward-looking approach would return us to the failed policies of treating terror as a law-enforcement matter.".
Finally, so that's why Fox News seems so fast....
