Pretty amazing edition of the CBS Evening News last night. Here's the stories in the order they covered them:
1. Poll shows confidence in Bush slipping almost to pre-Sept 11 levels.
2. Kay report says no WMD in Iraq
3. CIA leak enquiry points to administration officials
4. Moussaoui trial setback for prosecution.
5. Schwarzenegger "apologises" for his past behaviour in wake of molestation allegations.
6. Rush Limbaugh quits ESPN over his Donovan McNabb remarks AND is apparently implicated in some kind of prescription drug scam.
7. Eye on America - Kids having to pay for extra-curricular activities at public schools.
Wow - pretty damning stuff, most of it. Shame no-one seems to give a rip.
Oh and, on the Rush Limbaugh thing, this considered quote from Fred Barnes on Fox's Brit Hume show:
"Sportswriting is the last bastion of liberalism".
